Bread Pudding

This bread pudding recipe is the perfect way to satisfy your sweet tooth! Made with basic pantry ingredients and some day-old bread, this easy recipe can be served for breakfast or dessert with milk poured over top or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

INGREDIENTS:

- 2 ½ loaf sweet egg bread like challah or brioche, cut into 2-inch cubes

- 10 eggs, beaten – 10 eggs

- 10 cups of milk

- 4 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1 ⅔ cup granulated sugar

- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter

- 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.

2. In 9 Qt. Braiser Pan, add cubed bread, eggs, milk, vanilla, sugar and butter. Mix well

3. Bake for 45-60 minutes, or until custard is set but still a little wobbly and edges of bread have browned.

4. Serve warm or at room temperature.
